Foyles Undertakes New Role at Baptist Children’s
Homes

July 27, 2007

Chris Foyles has joined Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina (BCH) as Marketing and Client Recruiter. The Kinston native joined the institution’s state administration staff in Thomasville on July 2.

Foyles is no stranger to BCH. He worked from November 2004 to December 2006 as a “Chief” at BCH’s Cameron Boys Camp near Southern Pines. Camp is a unique wilderness camping program that helps boys and their families overcome their problems. As a Chief, Foyles provided supervision and counseling to a group of boys living outside in Camp’s highly structured wilderness environment.

In his new position as Marketing and Client Recruiter, Foyles is responsible for growing the ministries and services of both Cameron Boys Camp and Oak Ranch, BCH’s newest ministry located in the Broadway area, through increased number of children served. He will work closely with schools, social agencies, churches, local and state government civic groups to build relationships and help expand external awareness of BCH’s programs, services, and special ministries. Chris will also help cultivate and maintain revenue streams connected to BCH ministries and services.

“I’m very excited to be able to continue working at Baptist Children’s Homes in my new role,” Foyles stated. “BCH has a special opportunity to make a difference in lives of children and families, and I hope my contributions will connect our services to those who need them.”

Since 1885, Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina has helped children and families. BCH began with one campus, Mills Home in Thomasville, but now provides services in communities across the state.
