Santa delivers gifts from Unilever

Santa, along with Unilever, rode in with gifts in hand for our children at noon on Friday, December 18. Unilever catered a wonderful lunch from Honey Baked Ham for the campus along with some awesome sweet treats!! We are so blessed to have so many that want to touch our children's hearts and ensure they all have gifts for Christmas and that God loves them. There is no greater love!!

Odum Home Cottage Benefits from Church's Efforts

Latta Harnett Cottage benefited from the fine folks from First Baptist Church in Clarkton. Odum Home children and staff members were very appreciative of flooring that was shared with us from Thomasville to be used in the cottage. Members at Clarkton Baptist Church offered to put this flooring down for us and they did a wonderful job! The residents and staff memers at Latta are grateful for the face lift that the floor has given to their cottage with some help from our friends.

Calvary Baptist Church Mirrors Christ

On Sunday ,December 12, adults and youth from Calvary Baptist Church in Shallotte shared the joy of the season with residents and staff members at Odum Home. The youth presented a soul searching skit about how we can be a mirror for Christ by what we do and how we treat others while literally looking in a mirror. Afterward, they gave the children gifts, hot cocoa and Christmas carols. The evening was enjoyed by everyone, and we thank Calvary for sharing the reason for the season.
