Baptist Children's Homes' Thomasville Area Family Services provides emergency care, clarification/value change, continuing care, and after care services for the following counties: Alamance, Cabarrus, Caswell, Chatham, Davidson, Davie, Durham, Forsyth, Guilford, Iredell, Lee, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Moore, Orange, Person, Randolph, Rockingham, Rowan, Stanly, Stokes, Surry, Union, Yadkin.
Mills Home in Thomasville, the oldest and largest facility operated by Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina, offers residential services for school aged boys and girls. The residential campus was originally established by John Haymes Mills in 1885.

On Saturday, August 2, all the Mills Home residents enjoyed a time of “discussing the old days” with the alumni during the annual Homecoming. Our residents enjoyed hearing how things were many years ago, but also realized what they had in common with the former residents.... more
07.03.2008: Fund-Raiser for Mills Home
On June 14th, the Triad Tang Club held a car show on the Mills Home campus. There were beautiful old and new mustangs, lots of food, live music, games, and a bounce house for the little ones. The event was a fund- raiser for Mills Home and the residents fully enjoyed themselves. ... more
07.02.2008: Mills Home Residents Go Wake Boarding!
Mills Home residents participated in the first annual "Wake the World" event on June 16th at the High Rock Lake Marina. Greg Hodgin from GoBoardGo organized the event. Several of his wakeboarding friends help out by donating their boats for the day. ... more
