Emergency Care provides temporary residential care for children whose families or legal custodians are experiencing an immediate crisis which results in the child having no safe or appropriate place to reside.
Immediate care is provided to the child (typically between the ages of 3-18) while the family is helped tp de-escalate the crisis and develop an immediate plan. The maximum length of stay is 60 days. If further care is needed exceeding the initial 60 days, assessments are provided to enhance further planning.
