So many of the children in our care do not have memories that bring smiles to their faces – thoughts of family dysfunction, physical and emotional abuse, neglect by the people they depended upon the most are difficult to dispel.
When we provide new and joyous experiences for our boys and girls, the old remembrances recede. Those new memories take hold in their minds and hearts and smiles return.
You can help bring smiles to children’s faces through a summer sponsorship. Cookouts, local baseball games, Vacation Bible School, ice cream parties, and trips to BCH’s cottage at Indian Beach are some of the opportunities you help provide as a summer sponsor.
