BCH completed its seventh Council on Accreditation (COA) review in 2015 affirming the nonprofit as one of the top child care organizations in its field. In its review, BCH received a perfect score on 96% of the 1,000 standards that were evaluated. The three visiting COA representatives cited BCH’s staff training saying it was “incredible.” It was noted that BCH president/CEO Michael C. Blackwell was key to the agency’s overall expectation of excellence. “Only leadership can bring that forward in their staff.” Reaccreditation occurs every four years.
