Kennedy Home in Kinston is still undergoing repairs and renovations due to damage from Hurricane Matthew on October 8, 2016.
More than 6,000 volunteers, some coming multiple times, have assisted with recovery at the campus since the storm hit. Kennedy Home continues to need skilled volunteers as well as donations to help with remodeling children’s cottages, tree removal, electrical work, and shelving for the food storage building.
