Building more than a ramp

North Carolina Baptist Aging Ministry (NCBAM) volunteers make their way to the home of a gentleman who had been confined to his home for years.

They unload their hammers, nails and wood to begin to assemble a wheel chair ramp. They work throughout much of the morning. The pastor goes into the house for a moment and the man asked about why the people are there to help. He shared with him that it is because of God’s love.

Before the group leaves that day the man has a new wheel chair ramp, but he now has something much more important. On that day he asked Jesus to come into his heart and he professed his faith in his Lord and Savior.

A few months later he met his Lord face to face.

And Jesus said…Come to me all who are weary and I will give you rest.

You have helped ensure this man spends eternity in Heaven with Jesus Christ! Will you consider helping other aging adults know the HOPE of Jesus?

Give now and your gift will be DOUBLED up to $250,000!
