GRADUATES 2024: Celebrating Achievements

BCH RESIDENTS


Erica Dajui, a resident at Mills Home in Thomasville, graduated from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro on May 3. She will work at American Children’s Home in Lexington, NC as a foster care case manager and hopes to eventually work with children in residential/cottage care.


Mills Home resident Saundra Rosebur graduated from Thomasville High School on June 8. She continues working at The Mill: Coffee and Community on the Mills Home campus and plans to begin college courses in 2025.


STAFF CHILDREN


Rebekah Brinkley graduated from FGH Christian Academy in Westfield on May 17. She is the daughter of Lorie Brinkley, West Central Foster Care Case Manager in Thomasville. She plans to pursue a nursing degree to work in pediatrics or labor and delivery.


Cassie Ciara Frazier graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ on December 12, 2023. She received her Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Costume Design for Theatre, Film, and Television. She works as a Costume Production Assistant on various movies and TV shows filming in Atlanta, GA. She is the daughter of Faith Frazier, Accounts Receivable Clerk for the Business Office.


Morgan Leigh Hartman graduated from High Point Christian Academy on May 24. She is the daughter of Dana Hartman, Foster Care Supervisor for the Thomasville Area. Morgan plans to attend Columbia International University in Columbia, SC where she will major in Health Sciences with a focus in Nutrition and Wellness. She will also run Cross Country and Track.


Abigail Huskey graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL with a degree in Psychology. Abigail plans to pursue a career in the field of psychology.



Jonas Wilson Martin graduated from Lee Christian School in Sanford on May 23. He will take courses at Central Carolina Community College and Liberty University. His father is Matt Martin, NCBAM Northeast Regional Director.


Kiersten Preckel graduated on May 10 from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She is a full-time nanny and is considering pursuing a master’s degree. Her parents are Steve and Heather Preckel, Cottage Parents at Broyhill Home in Clyde.

Josiah Cassidy graduated from Pensacola Christian College and J and G Academy in May. He plans to attend Guilford Technical Community College to major in Heavy equipment and Diesel Equipment Technology. Josiah is the son of Audrey Luther, ISP at

Asheboro Home, part of the Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Ministry.


Zenaida Amil Bryant graduated on May 12 from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Exercise and Sports Science. She plans to work for two years then pursue a Master’s Degree. Zenaida is the daughter of Rose Bryant, Director of Family Work at Kennedy Home in Kinston.


Kendall Putnam graduated from NC State University and Meredith College in May. She received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. She is the daughter of Barb Putnam, Payroll Manager in the Human Resources Office.


Benjamin Davis Qualls graduated on May 11 from the University of North Carolina in Wilmington. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration-Finance. He is the son of Kevin Qualls, Vice President of Development.


Caleb Snovak graduated from East Davidson High School in Thomasville on June 7. He will pursue a business major and play baseball at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer. His father is Andy Snovak, Foster Care Case Manager in Thomasville.


Ayden Truax graduated from the University of North Carolina in Wilmington in May. He plans to pursue his education in order to become a film director. He is the son of Cyndie Truax, Vice President of Strategy and Innovation.


STAFF MEMBERS


Aubrey Allen, Group Work Supervisor at Camp Duncan in Aberdeen, graduated on May 3 from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies.
