Alverta Bolick Home for men is located in beautiful Asheville, NC. The group is active with Buncombe County Special Olympics, local churches, AB Tech Compensatory Education program, Goodwill, and Open Hearts.

Broyhill Home in Clyde

Broyhill Home is tucked away on 91 lush, hilly acres in Clyde. In 1971, with the financial encouragement of J.E. and Satie Broyhill and their family, Baptist Children's Homes began a ministry to serve children and families in the western mountains.

Broyhill Home is a residential facility for school-age children. Family system and group interventions are used. Child Care workers live with children in the cottage providing daily support, encouragement, care and direction. Watch video »

Drake Cottage in Franklin

Drake Cottage in Franklin sets on 300 acres in the Iotla Valley. The cottage began serving boys in 2001 and continues to operate as a group home providing individual and family clarification to boys 11 years or older.

The cottage serves nine youth who are able to attend public school, have the potential to control impulsive behaviors, and who can benefit from and contribute to an intensive group process.

Lindsay Home in Zionville

As part of Joy Cove Ministries, Lindsay Home for women and their brother home, Three Forks Home for men, are located in the smokey mountains of Boone, NC. The scenery and the fresh mountain air make it an inviting place to live and work.

Residents are active in church and community activities while working jobs and volunteering. They attend Comp Ed, GED programs, and are very active with Special Olympics. www.HereIsMyHome.org »

Moody Home in Franklin

Moody Home, established in 1988 near Franklin, sets in the beautiful Iotla Valley on 300 acres. The cottage offers a supportive group home for single mothers and their children.

Truett Children's Home in Hayesville

Truett Children's Home near Hayesville began serving children is 2008 as a result of a growing partnership between Truett Baptist Association and Baptist Children's Homes. 

Truett Home serves children in the western counties who are in the custody of Department of Social Services and private placements. The cottage provides care for six boys and girls ages six and older who are able to attend public school and would benefit from individual and family clarification.

Craig Cottage near Ridgecrest

Craig Cottage, located in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, offers children and staff a serene get-away. 

The cottage, donated by the Hubert M. Craig family, provides children the opportunity to vacation in the mountains. For some of them, it is the first time they have had a vacation or seen the mountains. 

Thanks to many volunteers and friends of Baptist Children's Homes, Craig Cottage continues to bring rest and relaxation every year as our children get to vacation to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
