Pray for Odum Home
Tucked into the heart of Pembroke, Odum Home is more than a campus. It is a family. Children who have known hard places are finding safety, steady love, and the hope of the gospel here. The work is holy, and it is heavy. Before anything else, we ask for the one thing that changes everything: your prayers.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
Philippians 4:6 (ESV)
everyone can do something…
Five Ways to Pray for Odum
Pray that every boy and girl at Odum Home would feel safe, seen, and deeply loved. Ask the Lord to bring healing to wounded hearts, peace to anxious minds, and a growing knowledge of the God who draws near to the brokenhearted.
Our cottage parents serve the children in their care around the clock. Pray for wisdom, compassion, and strength as they do daily life with these children, and for the marriages and families who carry this calling together.
From caseworkers to kitchen staff to groundskeepers, it takes many hands to care for one child well. Pray for endurance, unity, and joy among the team, and that God would fill every vacant role with people who have a heart for service.
Many children dream of going home. Pray for the biological families working toward reunification, for healthy attachments to form, and for God to mend what has been broken so that families can be made whole again.
More than safety, more than stability, our deepest prayer is that every child and family at Odum Home would come to know Jesus. Pray that seeds planted here would grow into lasting faith, and that lives would be transformed by His love.
Want to do more than pray?
God often answers our prayers by stirring us to act. If He is moving your heart, here are four ways to step in.
Thank you for standing with the children and families of Odum Home. Your prayers reach further than you know.
